Classes are conducted with the confines of the physical education, but their character is individually adjusted to the needs and abilities of participating students.

The classes in a swimming pool are lead by a qualified coach, and each disabled person is accompanied in water by an assistant. Persons with disabilities are qualified into groups formed on the basis of type of their disability and swimming abilities. The classes take place in a big or in a small swimming pool. The building, where the classes take place, is free from architectural barriers. the Office for Persons with Disabilities provides a transport to/from the classes.

Within the confines of the classes, persons with disabilities, with their assistants, take part in a comprehensive  physical education program which takes advantage of opportunities offered by the swimming pool. Students taking part in the classes are provided with transport, as well as with a help in a cloak room and in water by assistants, specially trained for these tasks. As such assistants, the Office for Persons with Disabilities, has employed students.

All persons who want to participate in the classes in the swimming pool are asked to declare their wish through filing a swimming pool questionnaire.

Scheduled classes will start on 13-th October.  In the winter term 2006/07  classes will be held in the  Delfin swimming pool, at. Kasprzaka street 3, each Friday, 5 am.

An indispensable condition for starting the classes is to deliver a medical certificate about lack of contraindications against this form of activity and to fill up a swimming pool questionnaire.
