The University has at its disposal 21 vacancies at student hostels accommodated for the needs of persons disabled in motion. 15 adapted vacancies are located at the Student Hostel no. 6 in Radomska street. The remaining 6 vacancies are situated at the Student Hostel no. 4 in Zamenhoffa street in rooms on the ground floor. Currently an effort is being made to increase number of vacancies fully accommodated for the needs of persons disabled in motion.

An indispensable requirement for applying for a vacancy for a person with disability is to present at the Office for Persons with Disabilities a request for granting a vacancy for a person with disability at the University of Warsaw Student Hostel. For students of the first year the deadline is until 15-th August (this year it was prolonged until 21-st August). For students of higher years the deadline is until 30-th June. With a request one should present a suitable documentation: a medical record on a disability, current medical documentation confirming his or her health condition, a personal income certificate from the Tax Office for all persons form an applicant's household, acquired in the previous year. Requests for granting a vacancy for a person with disability at the University of Warsaw Student Hostel are viewed by a Lodging Commission. They take into account a sort of disability, a way of moving, co-existing ailments, all the consequences of person's disability and a financial situation of an applicant. At first there are considered requests from students starting or continuing their first study course. The University of Warsaw in unable to grant lodging for carers and an assistance in everyday life activities.
